Croatia reports funding for 363 projects. An additional round is still open, but narrowly defined: it supports charging points at eligible Local Host accommodation, not holiday-home renovations in general.
A funding report, not a new pot for everyone
On 15 October, the tourism ministry summarised the results of the green and digital transition programme: 363 projects are receiving a total of 3,203,152.36 euros. The announcement reports on approved projects. It does not mean that every business can still apply for a share of that sum.
The allocation is broad: 61 hotel projects receive 1,378,500 euros, and 80 projects by family farms receive 807,000 euros. Travel agencies receive 193,700 euros for 25 projects, while the nautical sector receives 538,700 euros for 30 projects. A further 285,252.36 euros covers 167 projects under Measure E. Project counts and funding amounts tell different stories: many small grants can together amount to less than a few larger investments.
The open round funds charging points
There is also a second call under Measure E, with a budget of 200,000 euros. It covers AC charging points for electric vehicles at accommodation bearing the “Vaš domaćin / Local Host” label. The funding guidelines specify a rated output of at least 3.6 and no more than 22 kilowatts, together with associated eligible installation costs.
Eligible applicants are private household accommodation providers who had already received the label by the publication of this second call and have not already received funding from the first round of Measure E. The guidelines' other conditions also apply, particularly the appropriate accommodation permit and residence requirements. The label alone does not replace this eligibility check.
The date, complete application and budget all matter
Applications have been accepted since 24 September at 9:00. The latest deadline is 13 November 2026 at 12:00; applications close earlier if the budget is exhausted. Complete and eligible applications are considered in order of receipt. Waiting until the last day therefore does not reserve any money.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through TuRiznica within eTurizam by a person with the appropriate authorisation. An email or letter is not a substitute. Charging points are intended to serve guests staying at the accommodation; according to the guidelines, they do not have to be publicly accessible to any third party.
Read the full guidelines before ordering
For an eligible host, the funding can enable a tangible improvement to the service offered. That does not imply full funding for every desired device or a general renovation grant. Before placing an order, check eligibility, cost items, supporting documents, contractual conditions and remaining funds together.
For guests, the announcement currently says something about investment in the sector. It does not prove that a particular accommodation already has a working charging facility. Anyone relying on one should ask the accommodation about the connection actually available and the conditions of use.
