Three changes from Friday to Monday
Anyone travelling with Jadrolinija between Friday, 9 October, and Monday, 12 October 2026, should note three separate timetable notices. Two departures move and one extra round trip is added. All times are Croatian local time.
The notices give no weather reason. They should therefore be read separately from the current suspensions in Kvarner and off Dubrovnik. An announced departure time also remains subject to later operating notices: it does not replace checking with the operator on the day of travel.
Friday's late ferry to Preko departs at 23:59
On route 431 Zadar (Gaženica)–Preko, Jadrolinija moves Friday's departure from Gaženica from 23:00 to 23:59 on 9 October. This means the sailing just before midnight on Friday evening, not Saturday evening.
The notice concerns this specific departure from the mainland to Preko. Anyone arriving late by car or long-distance coach should still allow enough time to reach Gaženica ferry port and board. 23:59 is the departure time, not the recommended arrival time at the berth.
An extra Stari Grad sailing is added on Sunday
For Sunday, 11 October, the operator announces an extra Split–Stari Grad–Split round trip on route 635. The ferry leaves Split at 16:00; the additional return departure leaves Stari Grad at 19:00.
This supplements the timetable; it does not replace all regular connections. For a Hvar trip, the two ports and respective directions matter: the 19:00 time is the departure from Stari Grad, not the arrival in Split.
Monday's evening ferry to Vis leaves one hour later
On Monday, 12 October, the ferry on route 602 from Split to Vis leaves at 19:30 instead of 18:30. The notice published on 8 October expressly names the departure from Split.
For travellers, that means a later mainland departure. Anyone being met on Vis or staying somewhere with an agreed arrival time should pass on the change and check the expected arrival with the operator. The notice provides no basis for inferring a change in the opposite direction.
Match the date and direction before setting out
For an existing booking, compare the route, travel date and departure port with the relevant notice. Reopen Jadrolinija's passenger notices before setting out and allow time for reaching the port and boarding. The three changes apply on the stated days, not automatically on the following weekend.
