The second Bicicletta rosa in Nova Vas near Poreč combines two guided cycling routes with an easy walk. Recommended donations support Vita Nova and psychological assistance for people living with cancer.

01

The afternoon starts before the routes set off

The second Bicicletta rosa takes place on Saturday, 19 September, in Nova Vas near Poreč. The programme begins at 3 pm, and on-site registration remains open until 3:45 pm.

The group activities start at 4:30 pm. Anyone who wants to check equipment, make a donation and choose the right group should not arrive only at the departure time.

02

Two cycling routes and an easy walk

The organisers have announced two guided cycling routes for children and adults. An easy guided walk is available as an alternative, so the campaign is not just for experienced cyclists.

The verified announcement gives no distances or elevation figures, so a particular level of sporting difficulty cannot reliably be promised.

03

Register by email or on the day

Advance registration is available at biciclettarosa1@gmail.com, or participants can register on the day from 3 to 3:45 pm.

The city has not published a maximum number of participants. Larger groups and people with particular requirements should check the details by email in advance.

04

Donations go to the Vita Nova Poreč association

The recommended donation is five euros for children and 15 euros for adults. The funds are intended for the Vita Nova Poreč association to promote psychological support for oncology patients.

A recommended donation does not guarantee a medical service. The purpose is support, solidarity and funding assistance, not a promise of a cure.

A helmet and your own equipment are essential

Participants bring their own suitable equipment, and helmets are compulsory on the cycling routes. Brakes, tyres, lights and saddle height should be checked before the start.

Participation is at your own risk. Volunteers help at checkpoints, but they cannot replace an honest assessment of fitness and safe bicycle handling.

06

Choosing the right group matters with children

At registration, families should be open about how confidently their children ride and which route is realistic. On a charity ride, a slow shared pace matters more than sporting ambition.

Comfortable shoes, water and weather-appropriate clothing are sufficient for the walk. No bad-weather policy has been published, so check the forecast with the organisers shortly before the event.

07

Pink means visible support here

The event combines activity in the Poreč area with attention for people living with cancer. The cycling routes and walk offer several ways to join the same campaign.

Anyone unable to participate should not assume that every other form of donation will be available on site. Participation, the recommended amounts and Vita Nova Poreč as recipient are the details that have been reliably confirmed.
