HŽPP will replace six trains between Knin, Perković and Šibenik with buses on Friday. The operator gives exact times, but neither the bus stops nor guaranteed connections.
Four early services between Knin and Perković
On Friday, 4 September, HŽ Putnički prijevoz will replace four regional trains between Knin and Perković with buses. Train 5801 is scheduled to leave Knin at 4:12 am and reach Perković at 5:10 am. In the opposite direction, HŽPP lists Perković at 5:22 am and Knin at 6:24 am for train 5800.
Later, train 5803 is due to run from Knin at 8:05 am to Perković, arriving at 9:03 am, followed by train 5802 from Perković at 9:26 am to Knin, arriving at 10:28 am. These times come from the operator's information published late on Thursday evening.
The afternoon replacement service extends to Šibenik
Train 5805 will run as a bus from Knin to Šibenik. HŽPP gives a departure time of 3:40 pm and an arrival time of 5:12 pm.
The evening change affects train 5806 from Šibenik to Knin: departure at 8:31 pm and arrival at 10:07 pm. The notice therefore replaces precisely these six services, not every train in the region.
What HŽPP has not published
The operator cites technical difficulties as the reason. Its daily notice does not give a more detailed cause, the expected duration of the disruption or a list of the specific bus stops.
Passengers should not infer the boarding point from previous replacement services. Confirm it at the station, through HŽPP information or with customer service, especially at Perković where short transfers may be scheduled.
A timetable is not a connection guarantee
The published bus times describe the planned replacement transport. Road traffic, loading luggage and moving between the platform and bus may nevertheless add minutes.
HŽPP does not promise blanket connection protection in the notice. For onward travel from Perković, Knin or Šibenik, a larger buffer is therefore wiser than an itinerary calculated to the minute.
Keep the travel check short
First compare your train number with the list. Then confirm the bus boarding point and reload the operator's current information immediately before setting out. Anyone who needs help transferring should notify HŽPP early or ask staff at the location.
The notice quickly loses its usefulness after 4 September. For later dates, this list no longer applies; only the operator's traffic information current at that time does.
