Delay information is currently absent from the HŽPP app and online timetable. This does not mean the timetable or ticket sales are down—but travellers making tight connections need a second live check.
Which function is affected
HŽ Putnički prijevoz says delay information is currently unavailable in both the mobile app and the online timetable. According to the operator, work is under way to restore it.
The notice concerns one specific display. It does not say that timetable searches, ticket sales or all digital services are unavailable.
Do not confuse scheduled time with real time
A departure time returned by a search may still describe the scheduled service. Without delay information, however, it does not show whether the train is actually running on time.
For a tight transfer, a scheduled arrival must therefore not be treated as a confirmed real-time forecast. Allowing an additional buffer is the safest response.
How to obtain a second update
At the station, display boards and loudspeaker announcements are the most immediate live sources. Train staff, ticket offices or HŽPP customer service may also help, depending on what is available at the departure point.
These channels can also lag during an ongoing disruption. For an important connection, it is worth checking the same information again shortly before departure.
Allow more time for connections
Anyone changing between regional and long-distance services today should allow extra transfer time and save important train numbers offline. A screenshot of the planned journey cannot replace live data, but it keeps the route and scheduled times close at hand.
For the last connection of the day, identify a possible alternative before boarding. This is particularly important on routes where onward buses or ferries run infrequently.
When this notice is no longer relevant
This kind of disruption notice is short-lived by nature. Once HŽPP restores the delay data or publishes a new status, the reason for this warning falls away.
Until then, the only reliable statement is that delay information is missing from the app and online timetable. It says nothing about the punctuality of any individual train.
