The Bačvice open-air cinema is extending its season: the first three “Pirates of the Caribbean” films screen at 8:30 pm from 10 to 12 September. An Oasis documentary is announced for 13 September, but is not yet visible in the current ticket list.

01

The apparent season finale was not the finale

After the initially documented end in early September, the official Ljetno kino Bačvice programme now lists three further film nights. The first three films in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series follow on 10, 11 and 12 September.

All three screenings start at 8:30 pm. The venue is the open-air cinema at Šetalište Petra Preradovića 5 in Split—not an indoor cinema in the city centre.

02

How the trilogy is scheduled

“The Curse of the Black Pearl” screens on Thursday 10 September, followed by “Dead Man’s Chest” on Friday and “At World’s End” on Saturday. Anyone wanting to see the complete series therefore needs three separate evenings and three tickets.

The official page lists the films as US productions with Croatian subtitles. Nobody should plan on other language versions or additional subtitles without checking the specific screening again.

03

€7 applies to the currently listed screenings

Kino Mediteran lists €7 for each of the three visible pirate films. According to the operator, its membership card gives a €1 discount.

The box office opens one hour before the start. The event page notes sold-out online allocations and possible remaining tickets at the box office; because availability can change at short notice, that is not a seat guarantee.

04

The Oasis finale is announced, but not yet cleanly bookable

The documentary “Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger” is announced as the season finale for Sunday 13 September at 8:30 pm. Yet the official ticket list checked on the evening of 9 September visibly ends with the third pirate film on 12 September.

We therefore treat the fourth night as announced, rather than as a currently confirmed booking option. Anyone travelling specifically for it should wait until Kino Mediteran visibly confirms the screening or answers a direct enquiry.

05

Open-air cinema remains weather-dependent

For weather cancellations, the operator provides refunds for tickets already bought. That helps after a cancellation, but does not replace a live check before travelling to the cinema.

Especially during the current Adriatic severe-weather situation, check the programme page and weather on the screening day. A calendar announcement does not prove that the screen will operate in thunderstorms or strong wind.

06

The practical plan for Bačvice

If tickets are unavailable online, check directly at the box office at least an hour before the start rather than relying on a remaining allocation. For 13 September, also check whether the Oasis film has appeared in the official programme and sales system.

This is a lovely late-summer evening suggestion—but only the three pirate screenings are fully visible in the current primary-source check with date and price.
